Get on-course for a good cause. Join us for the inaugural Tauranga Daffodil Raceday in support of the Cancer Society of New Zealand.

Originating in Hawke’s Bay in 2014, the Daffodil Raceday initiative has raised more than $100,000 for the Cancer Society to support the valuable work their volunteers do across the country every day. Racing Tauranga are proud to be part of the series this year, helping raise awareness and vital funds for this great cause.

General Admission: By donation, with all proceed going to the Cancer Society
Members Day Pass: $10

BYO Alcohol Policy: One bottle of wine OR half dozen beer (stubbies) per adult of legal drinking age. No Spirits, RTDs, Kegs or Crates allowed. Bags may be checked on course. NO BYO permitted in Grandstands, Lounges, or Pre-Booked Functions.

BYO Food Policy: You are welcome to bring home-prepared food onto our racecourse public areas. BBQs are permitted on public lawns. NO BYO food permitted in Lounges, or Pre-Booked Functions that include catered meals. No professionally catered/supplied meals can be brought onto the venue.

Located on the top floor of the Members Stan, the Tokyo Lounge offers a bird’s eye view of the track and one of the best seats in the house. The QuickCount Great Kiwi Raceday

Saturday 4 November

A sweet as and exceedingly Kiwi afternoon of racing, entertainment and food. Spend a great day out socialising with friends, family or colleagues. Come dressed as your favourite Kiwi Icon, enjoy thrilling thoroughbred racing action, live music, kapa haka, delicious kai and a Gumboot Throwing Competition.

*Gazebos and course admission are NOT included. Gazebo spots accommodate a maximum of 10 people per site. Gazebos must be standard sized with height not exceeding 2.4m. Side panels are not permitted. Double (2) Spot bookings must be located one behind the other.


PICNIC BOXES – $225 Serves 10 adults

Include a Picnic Box with your Home Straight Gazebo Lawn Spot booking. Each Picnic Box is bursting with flavour and fresh produce, and packed with a delicious array of cold selections especially suited to raceday grazing.

*Does not include course admission or a reserved area and must be collected on your nominated day from the Public Dining Room in the Members Grandstand.

Christmas at the Races

Soak up the party atmosphere at Tauranga’s Christmas at the Races! With two fantastic events and a range of hospitality options to choose from, it’s the perfect chance to treat your guests to thrilling thoroughbred racing action mixed with a whole lot of festive fun!

Please note: Friday 15th December is a Twilight Raceday, with the first race starting at approximately 3pm. A great way to spend a warm summers evening.

This social marquee village is located on two levels of the track-side lawn, with fabulous views of the home straight and Winning Post. Choose from your own private mini-marquee next to the Birdcage set with 2 tables and 20 chairs, OR a maxi-marquee in an elevated position set with 4 tables and 40 chairs. Reserved seating on tables of 8-10 is also available in a large shared marquee on the Upper Level.

Interislander Summer Festival Tauranga Races

The Interislander Summer Festival is one of the biggest racedays of the year in Tauranga. Enjoy a fun family day out with all day kids activities, live music and great on-track entertainment.
